إلتقى الفريق أول / محمـد زكى القائد العام للقوات المسلحة وزير الدفاع والإنتاج الحربى
عدداً من مقاتلى قوات حرس الحدود ، والذى يأتى فى إطار سلسلة اللقاءات الدورية التى تقوم بها القيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة للتواصل مع أبنائها تجاه مختلف الموضوعات التى ترتبط بالقوات المسلحة على كافة المستويات ، وذلك بحضور الفريق / أسامة عسكر رئيس أركان حرب القوات المسلحة وعدد من قادة القوات المسلحة .
بدأ اللقاء بكلمة اللواء أح / عماد يمانى قائد قوات حرس الحدود , قدم خلالها الشكر للقيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة على الدعم الذى توليه لقوات حرس الحدود وتزويدها بأحدث الأسلحة والمعدات والوسائل التكنولوجية المتطورة بما يمكنها من تنفيذ كافة المهام التى توكل إليها للدفاع عن أمن الوطن وسلامة أراضيه عبر مختلف النقاط والمنافذ الحدودية , مؤكدًا أن رجال قوات حرس الحدود سيظلون دائماً فى أعلى درجات اليقظة والجاهزية مستعدين للزود بالروح والدم لتبقى راية الوطن عالية خفاقة .
أعقب ذلك عرض فيلم تسجيلى تناول أبرز الجهود والنجاحات التى حققتها قوات حرس الحدود على مختلف الإتجاهات الإستراتيجية للدولة خلال الفترة الماضية .
وقام القائد العام للقوات المسلحة بتكريم المتميزين من رجال قوات حرس الحدود تقديراً لجهودهم وتفانيهم فى آداء المهام والواجبات المكلفين بها ، إلى جانب نجاحاتهم المتتالية فى ضبط العديد من عمليات التسلل والتهريب عبر الحدود الممتدة على كافة الإتجاهات الإستراتيجية للدولة .
ونقل الفريق أول / محمـد زكى تحيات وتقدير الرئيس / عبد الفتاح السيسى رئيس الجمهورية القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة لمقاتلى قوات حرس الحدود ، مشيداً بالجهد الذى يبذلونه فى تأمين الحدود على كافة الإتجاهات الإستراتيجية للدولة والتصدى للمهربين والمتسللين والعناصر الإجرامية التى تستهدف الإضرار بالأمن القومى المصرى , وأدار القائد العام للقوات المسلحة حوارًا مع مقاتلى قوات حرس الحدود تناول خلاله تطورات الأوضاع فى المنطقة والتحديات المطروحة على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية ، وطالبهم بالحفاظ على روحهم المعنوية العالية والإهتمام بالتدريب المستمر والمحافظة على الأسلحة والمعدات لتبقى القوات المسلحة على قلب رجل واحد يضحون بالغالى والنفيس للدفاع عن إستقرار الوطن وسلامة أراضية .
وفى ختام اللقاء تم إلتقاط صورة تذكارية جماعية مع فريق كرة القدم لنادى حرس الحدود الصاعد للدورى الممتاز ، كما تم إلتقاط صورة تذكارية مع قادة وضباط حرس الحدود .
وقام القائد العام للقوات المسلحة بتفقد معرض لقوات حرس الحدود للإطمئنان على منظومة التأمين والتسليح الحديثة والمركبات والوسائل المستخدمة بقوات حرس الحدود , كما تم عرض بعض المضبوطات والأحراز التى نجحت قوات حرس الحدود بضبطها خلال الفترة الماضية .

General Muhammad Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, met with a number of Border Guard combatants. A visit that comes within the framework of a series of periodic meetings held by the General Command of the Armed Forces to communicate with its sons regarding various issues related to the Armed Forces at all levels. The meeting was in the presence of Lieutenant-General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces and a number of commanders of the Armed Forces.
The meeting began with the speech of Major General Imad Yamani, Commander of the Border Guard Forces, during which he thanked the General Command of the Armed Forces for the support it gives to the Border Guard Forces and for providing them with the latest weapons, equipment and advanced technological means. Such equipment enable them to carry out all the tasks entrusted to them to defend the security of the homeland and the integrity of its territory across various border points and outlets. He also stressed that the men of the Border Guards will always remain at the highest levels of vigilance and readiness, ready to sacrifice soul and blood so that the flag of the homeland remains high and flutters.
This was followed by a documentary film that showed the most prominent efforts and successes achieved by the Border Guard Forces on the various strategic directions of the state during the last period.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces honored the distinguished Border Guards in appreciation of their efforts and dedication in performing the tasks and duties assigned to them, in addition to their successive successes in seizure of many infiltration and smuggling operations across the borders extending to all strategic directions of the state.
General Mohamed Zaki conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the combatants of the Border Guards, praising the effort they are making in securing the borders on all strategic directions of the state and confronting smugglers, infiltrators and criminal elements that aim to harm the Egyptian national security. The Commander-in-Chief held a discussion with the combatants of the Border Guards where he discussed the developments of the situation in the region and the challenges facing the regional and international arenas. He called on them to maintain their high morale, pay attention to continuous training and preserve weapons and equipment, so that the Armed Forces remains at the heart of one man who sacrifices the most precious to defend the stability of the homeland and the integrity of its territory.
At the end of the meeting, a group photo was taken with the football team of the Border Guards Club, which is rising to the Premier League, and a memorial photo was taken with the commanders and officers of the Border Guards.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces inspected an exhibition of the Border Guard Forces to check on the insurance system, modern armament, vehicles and the means used by the Border Guard Forces. In addition, some of the seizures and findings that the Border Guard Forces succeeded in seizing during the last period were presented.
