رئيس جمهورية أذربيجان،

بداية، أود أن أعرب عن سعادتي .. باستقبال فخامتكم والوفد المرافق لكم.. في زيارة مهمة.. تعكس اهتمام البلدين.. بتعزيز علاقاتهما الثنائية خلال الفترة المقبلة.. اســتنادا للروابــط التاريخيــة الممــتدة بينهـــما .. كما يسعدني في هذا السياق.. أن أتقدم لفخامتكم بالتهنئة.. على انتخابكم رئيسا لجمهورية أذربيجان لفترة جديدة.. وكذا، على الثقة التي حظيت بها بلادكم.. لاستضافة وتنظيم الدورة التاسعة والعشرين، لمؤتمر الأطراف باتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية، بشأن تغير المناخ .. مع تمنياتي لكم ولبلدكم الصديق.. بكل التوفيق.

السيدات والسادة الحضور،

إن المباحثات التي أجريتها اليوم مع فخامة الرئيس.. تؤكد تطلعنا لاستمرار العمل معا.. على تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين بلدينا في مختلف المجالات.. والتنسيق السياسي، بشأن القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك.. فضلاً عن دفع علاقاتنا الاقتصادية والتجارية.. وذلك عبر الاستفادة من الإمكانات المتاحة لكليهما.. لاسيما فى قطاعات: الإنشاءات والنقل، والاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات، والصناعات الغذائية والدوائية، والنفط والغاز.

كما اتفقنا خلال مباحثاتنا اليوم.. على أهمية الحفاظ على دورية انعقاد جولات المشاورات السياسية بين البلدين.. وكذا تطلعنا.. لعقد اجتماعات الدورة السادسة لـ”اللجنة المشتركة المصرية الأذربيجانية، للتعاون الاقتصادى والعلمى والفنى”.. فى أقرب وقت .. فضلاً عن تنظيم “منتدى رجال الأعمال المصرى الأذربيجانى”.. بما يساهم فى دفع العلاقات الاقتصادية والتجارية بين البلدين.. نحو المزيد من التعاون خلال الفترة المقبلة.

السيدات والسادة،

لقد كانت الملفات الإقليمية حاضرة بقوة.. في مباحثاتي مع فخامة الرئيس الأذربيجاني.. وفي القلب منها “القضية الفلسطينية”.. التي تعتبرها مصر صلب قضايا المنطقة .. حيث استعرضت خلال مباحثاتنا.. الجهود المصرية لإنفاذ المســاعدات الإنســـانية لأهالـي قطـــاع غـــزة .. والتوصل لوقف إطلاق النار.. حتى يتسنى التوجه نحو إقامة الدولة الفلسطينية ذات السيادة.. على خطوط 4 يونيو 1967، وعاصمتها “القدس الشرقية”.. وفقا لقرارات الشرعية الدولية ذات الصلة .. وإحلال السلام والتعايش في المنطقة.. بدلاً من الحروب والدمار والخراب.

وفي ذات السياق، أكدت لفخامة الرئيس خلال المباحثات.. مساندة مصر لكافة المبادرات.. الرامية إلى تحقيق السلام والاستقرار فى منطقة جنوب القوقاز.. ودعمنا الكامل للحوار والتفاوض لتحقيق السلام العادل والشامل.. ويهمني في هذا الصدد، الإشادة بالتقدم المحرز مؤخراً.. فيما يتعلق بملف ترسيم الحدود بين أذربيجان وأرمينيا .. بما يسمح بتدشين مرحلة جديدة من التنمية.. ويحقق مصالح شعوب المنطقة.

ختاما.. أجدد ترحيبي بفخامة الرئيس “علييف” .. متمنياً أن تشهد الفترة المقبلة.. طفرة في مسار تعزيز وتطوير التعاون المشترك، بين بلدينا في كافة المجالات.. استكمالاً للعلاقات الودية والتاريخية، التي تربط شعبينا الصديقين.

Your Excellency President Ilham Aliyev,

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan,

At the outset, I would like to express my pleasure in welcoming Your Excellency and the accompanying delegation on this important visit that reflects the two countries’ keenness to enhance their bilateral relations in the future, based on the historical ties between them.

In this context, I am also pleased to congratulate Your Excellency on your re-election as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

I also extend my congratulations to your country for the trust it has gained to host and organize the 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 29).

I wish Your Excellency and your country all the best.

Ladies and gentlemen,

The discussions held today with His Excellency President Aliyev confirm our aspirations to continue working together to enhance relations between our countries in various fields, political coordination on regional and international issues of common interest, as well as promoting our economic and trade relations by utilizing the available potentials of both countries, particularly in the sectors of construction, transportation, telecommunications and Information Technology, food, pharmaceutical industries, as well as oil and gas.

We also agreed during our discussions today on the importance of maintaining the regularity of holding rounds of political consultations between the two countries.

We also look forward to holding the meetings of the sixth session of the “Egyptian-Azerbaijani Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Technical and Scientific Cooperation” as soon as possible.

This is in addition to organizing the “Egyptian-Azerbaijani Businessmen’s Forum”, which will contribute to advancing economic and trade relations between the two countries towards further cooperation in the coming period.

Ladies and gentlemen,

Regional issues topped discussions with His Excellency the Azerbaijani President, at the heart of which was the Palestinian issue that Egypt regards as a core issue in the region.

During our talks, I outlined Egypt’s efforts to provide access to humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip and to achieve a ceasefire. This is in order to move towards the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian State along the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with relevant resolutions of international legitimacy and to promote peace and coexistence in the region, instead of wars, destruction, and devastation.

In the same context, I reiterated to His Excellency the President during the discussions Egypt’s support for all the initiatives aimed at achieving peace and stability in the South Caucasus region and full support for dialogue and negotiation for the attainment of just and comprehensive peace.

In this regard, I would like to commend the recent progress concerning the demarcation of borders between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which allows for the commencement of a new phase of development and serves the interests of the peoples of the region.

In conclusion, I would like to extend my warm welcome once again to His Excellency President Aliyev and I look forward to the upcoming period to witness a leap in enhancing and developing mutual cooperation between our two countries across all fields, in continuation of the friendly and historical relations that bind our two peoples.
