مجموعة لوحات حسي رع الخشبية تُعرض لأول بعد الترميم

افتتح المتحف المصري بالتحرير العرض الجديد للوحات الخشبية لمصطبة “حسي رع”، لتُكون عملية محاكاة كاملة لشكلها داخل المصطبة وفقاً للنشر العلمي لها، وذلك بعد الانتهاء من أعمال دراستها وترميمها بالتعاون مع المعهد الفرنسي للآثار الشرقية بالقاهرة.
تُعد لوحات مصطبة “حسي رع” إحدى أهم المجموعات الخشبية الفريدة التي تعود لعصر الأسرة الثالثة من مصر القديمة، والتي اكتشفت بمقبرته خلال القرن التاسع عشر الميلادي.
The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir has unveiled a new display of the wooden panels from the mastaba of Hesy-Ra, replicating their original layout within the tomb according to its scientific publication. This comes after the completion of extensive study and restoration work in collaboration with the French Institute for Oriental Archaeology in Cairo (IFAO).
The panels from Hesy-Ra’s mastaba, dating back to the 3rd Dynasty of the Old Kingdom, are among the most important and unique wooden collections from ancient Egypt, having been discovered in the 19th century AD.
