التقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اليوم بالرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس، وذلك على هامش انعقاد قمة تجمع البريكس بمدينة قازان بروسيا الاتحادية.
وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن السيد الرئيس أكد موقف مصر الثابت الداعم للسلطة الفلسطينية، ولضرورة توحيد الجهود للحفاظ على مقدرات الشعب الفلسطيني، وحقوقه المشروعة في إقامة دولته وفقاً لقرارات الشرعية الدولية، ورفض مصر أي مساع أو محاولات لتصفية القضية الفلسطينية.
كما أوضح المتحدث الرسمي أن الرئيسين بحثا جهود وقف الحرب الإسرائيلية على الشعب الفلسطيني بقطاع غزة والانتهاكات في الضفة الغربية، وأهمية أن يتخذ المجتمع الدولي موقفاً واضحاً وحاسماً تجاه تلك الممارسات، على نحو ينهي الكارثة الإنسانية التي تعصف بالمواطنين الفلسطينيين بالقطاع.
هذا، وقد أعرب الرئيس الفلسطيني للسيد الرئيس عن تقديره لجهود مصر المستمرة والدؤوبة لمساندة حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني، والتحركات التي تبذلها مصر على مختلف المستويات لدعم الشعب الفلسطيني وقضيته العادلة.
Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia.
The Spokesman for the Presidency said the President affirmed Egypt’s firm position in support of the Palestinian Authority, and the need to unify efforts to preserve the capabilities of the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights to establish their state in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions. This is in addition to Egypt’s rejection of attempts to liquidate the Palestinian issue.
The two presidents discussed efforts to stop the Israeli war on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and violations in the West Bank. They stressed that it was important for the international community to have a clear and decisive position towards these practices in a way that ends the humanitarian plight of the Palestinian citizens in the Strip.
The Palestinian president expressed his appreciation for Egypt’s continuous and tireless efforts to support the rights of the Palestinian people, and the efforts made by Egypt at various levels to support the Palestinian people and their just cause.
