إختتمت فعاليات التدريب البحرى المشترك المصرى الفرنسى
(كليوباترا – ٢٠٢٢) بمشاركة الفرقاطة المصرية سجم (المعز)
وعناصر من القوات الخاصه البحرية المصرية والفرنسية ، والذى تم تنفيذه خلال الأيام الماضية بالمياه الإقليمية الفرنسية .
تضمن التدريب عقد العديد من المحاضرات النظرية والبيانات العملية ، كما تم التدريب على أعمال الإستطلاع البحرى ،
وإعتراض الأهداف المعادية ، ومكافحة التهديدات غير النمطية ،
كذلك تنفيذ حق الزيارة والتفتيش للسفن المشتبه بها ، وتنفيذ عدد من تشكيلات الإبحار (نهارى/ ليلى) ، والتدريب على تبادل الطائرات على أسطح القطع البحرية المصرية والفرنسية .
وقد شهد اللواء بحرى أح / أشرف إبراهيم عطوة قائد القوات البحرية ،
يرافقه الفريق أول / بيير فانديية قائد القوات البحرية الفرنسية المرحلة الختامية للتدريب ، حيث إستمعا إلى عرض تقديمى عن الأنشطة والفعاليات التى تم تنفيذها فى المراحل الأولى للتدريب ، وقامت عناصر من القوات الخاصة البحرية المصرية والفرنسية بتنفيذ عملية إقتحام سفينة مشتبه بها عن طريق الإنزال العمودى بإستخدام الطائرة الهليكوبتر وبالإشتراك مع اللنشات السريعة .

تحيات وتقدير الفريق أول / محمد زكى القائد العام للقوات المسلحة وزير الدفاع والإنتاج الحربى
والفريق / أسامة عسكر رئيس أركان حرب القوات المسلحة للقوات المشاركة فى التدريب ، مؤكداً حرص القيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة على تعزيز أواصر التعاون العسكرى بين البحريتين المصرية والفرنسية .
من جانبه أكد الفريق أول / بيير فانديية قائد القوات البحرية الفرنسية على أهمية التدريب فى نقل وتبادل الخبرات ،
مشيراً إلى إستمرار التعاون بين القوات البحرية المصرية والفرنسية بما يعزز جهود الأمن والإستقرار بالمنطقة .
يأتى التدريب (كليوباترا – ٢٠٢٢) فى إطار خطة التدريبات المشتركة للقوات المسلحة مع الدول الشقيقة والصديقة لدعم آفاق التعاون العسكرى ، وتعزيز الكفاءة القتالية للقوات البحرية المصرية والفرنسية و تحقيق الأمن البحري بالمنطقة .
The Conclusion of the Joint Egyptian-French Naval Training Activities (Cleopatra – 2022) …

The joint Egyptian-French naval training (Cleopatra – 2022) concluded with the participation of the Egyptian frigate Sejm (Al-Moez) and elements of the Egyptian and French naval Special Forces, which was implemented during the past few days in French territorial waters.
The training included holding many theoretical lectures and field practice, as well as training on maritime reconnaissance, intercepting hostile targets, combating typical threats, implementing the right to Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) training, implementing a number of sailing formations (day/night), and training on airplanes’ exchange on the decks of Egyptian and French naval vessels.
Rear Admiral Ashraf Ibrahim Atwa, Commander of the Naval Forces, accompanied by Lieutenant-General Pierre Vandieh, Commander of the French Naval Forces, witnessed the final stage of the training. They watched a presentation on the activities and events that implemented in the early stages of the training, as well as elements of the Egyptian and French naval Special Forces carrying out the storming of a suspected ship by Fast Ropeoperations using a helicopter with the participation of fast launches.
The Commander of the Egyptian Naval Forces conveyed the greetings and appreciation of General Muhammad Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, and Lieutenant-General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, to the forces participating in the training, stressing the keenness of the General Command of the Armed Forces to strengthen the bonds of military cooperation between the Egyptian and French navies.
For his part, Lieutenant-General Pierre Vandeyeh, Commander of the French Naval Forces, stressed the importance of training in transferring and exchanging expertise, pointing to the continuation of cooperation between the Egyptian and French naval forces in a way that enhances security and stability efforts in the region.
The training (Cleopatra – 2022) comes within the framework of the joint training plan of the Armed Forces with brotherly and friendly countries to support the prospects of military cooperation, enhance the combat efficiency of the Egyptian and French navies and achieve maritime security in the region.
