تلقّى نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجيَّة السيد فؤاد حسين، إتصالاً هاتفياً من نظيرهِ الإيرانيّ حسين عبداللهيان، أعرب السيَّد الوزير عن موقف العراق إزاء الضربات التي طالت مواقع متعددة بإقليم كردستان العراق اليوم، من قبل الجانب الإيرانيّ، مُتَسبِّبَةً بوقوع أعداد بين شهيد وجريح. عادَّاً ذلك تجاوزاً سافراً على سيادة العراق وأمن مواطنيه.
هذا وكشف السيّد الوزير خلال الإتصال، أهميَّة أن يكونَ الحوار سبيلاً لإيقاف هذا التصعيد العدائيّ غير المُبرر، واصفاً إستمرار هذه الأعمال الإنفراديَّة بالخطرة.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Fouad Hussein received a phone call from his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Abdollahian. The minister expressed Iraq’s position regarding the strikes that hit multiple sites in the Kurdistan region of Iraq today, by the Iranian side, causing casualties between martyrs and wounded. They considered this a blatant violation of Iraq’s sovereignty and the security of its citizens.
During the call, the Minister revealed the importance of dialogue as a way to stop this unjustified hostile escalation, describing the continuation of these unilateral actions as dangerous.
