اجتمع السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اليوم مع الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي رئيس مجلس الوزراء،

والدكتور محمد شاكر وزير الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة، والمهندس طارق الملا وزير البترول والثروة المعدنية.

وصرح المستشار أحمد فهمي المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن الاجتماع يأتي في إطار المتابعة المستمرة من السيد الرئيس لملف تأمين احتياجات المواطنين والأنشطة الاقتصادية من التيار الكهربائي بشكل مستدام وثابت، وتجنب تكرار حدوث انقطاع التيار الكهربائي مستقبلاً، ووضع سيناريوهات متعددة للتعامل مع الاحتمالات المختلفة في هذا الصدد، أخذاً في الاعتبار ما تم إنجازه في قطاع الكهرباء خلال السنوات القليلة الماضية من مشروعات واستثمارات ضخمة، ضاعفت إجمالي القدرات الإنتاجية من حوالي 30 جيجا وات إلى ما يقارب 60 جيجا وات، بما أتاح توفير التيار الكهربائي بثبات واستمرارية على مدار الأعوام الماضية في جميع أنحاء الجمهورية، سواء لتلبية احتياجات المواطنين

أو لمشروعات التنمية المنتشرة على امتداد الوطن.

وخلال الاجتماع، تابع السيد الرئيس جميع الإجراءات التي اتخذتها الحكومة سواء للتغلب على الأزمة أو لمنع تكرارها مستقبلا، حيث تم توضيح أنه منذ اللحظة الأولى جرى تنسيق كامل بين وزارتي الكهرباء والبترول لتوفير الوقود اللازم لتشغيل محطات الكهرباء وتمكينها من مواصلة عملها في ظل ارتفاع درجات الحرارة بشكل غير مسبوق، بما يستلزم كميات أكبر بكثير من الوقود للحفاظ على القدرات الإنتاجية للمحطات، في الوقت الذي زاد فيه الطلب العالمي على الوقود من العديد من دول العالم في المنطقة وخارجها، بسبب تعرض تلك الدول لذات الظروف، على نحو فاقم المشكلة وأدى إلى حتمية اتباع سياسة مؤقتة لتخفيف الأحمال وترشيد الاستهلاك، مع مواصلة الحصول على الوقود الإضافي اللازم وتوفير الموارد المالية المطلوبة لذلك، أخذاً في الاعتبار دعم الدولة لفرق السعر الكبير بين تكلفة شراء الوقود اللازم لتشغيل محطات الكهرباء من الخارج بالعملة الأجنبية، وأسعار الكهرباء المدعومة في السوق المحلي.

وأضاف المتحدث الرسمي أن السيد الرئيس أكد خلال الاجتماع حرص الدولة على التصدي لأية مشكلات أو أزمات تواجه المواطنين، وحلها على مستويين، الأول يتعامل مع الظروف الطارئة والعاجلة، والثاني يتضمن الحلول الجذرية والهيكلية التي تضمن منع تكرار المشكلات مجدداً، ووجه السيد الرئيس الحكومة في هذا الصدد بمواصلة العمل المكثف لاحتواء الأوضاع الحالية وتخفيف الأعباء عن المواطنين في أسرع وقت ممكن، مع تعزيز جهود ومسارات تعظيم العائد والقيمة المضافة من مشروعات الكهرباء والطاقة، بما يوفر الموارد المطلوبة للتعامل مع جميع الاحتمالات، في ظل التقلبات المستمرة عالمياً في العوامل السياسية والاقتصادية والبيئية.

كما وجه السيد الرئيس بتعزيز الخطط الوطنية لزيادة مقدار الطاقة المتجددة وتعظيم قيمتها، بهدف تنويع مصادر إمدادات الطاقة، وذلك بالشراكة مع القطاع الخاص وأعرق الخبرات العالمية في هذا المجال.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Dr. Mohamed Shaker, and Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng. Tarek El Molla.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the meeting is held for the President to follow up on efforts aimed at securing the needs of citizens and economic activities with regards to the provision of electricity in a sustainable and stable manner, avoiding recurrence of power outages in the future. In this regard, it was mentioned that the achievements made in the electricity sector during the past few years in terms of huge projects and investments has helped the total production capacity double from about 30 gigawatts to nearly 60 gigawatts, thus enabling the provision of electricity steadily and continuity over the past years throughout the republic whether to meet the needs of citizens or to help development projects spread across the country.

During the meeting, the President followed up on all the measures taken by the government, whether to overcome the crisis or to prevent its recurrence in the future. It was clarified that from the beginning there was full coordination between the Ministries of Electricity and Petroleum to provide the fuel needed to operate the power stations and enable them to continue their work in light of the extremely unprecedented high temperature which requires much larger quantities of fuel to maintain the production capacities of the stations. This comes at a time when the global demand for fuel has increased from many countries of the world in the region and beyond due to the exposure of those countries to the same conditions in a way that exacerbated the problem and led to adopting a temporary policy to reduce loads and rationalize consumption. This shall take place while continuing to obtain the necessary additional fuel and providing the required financial resources for that, taking into account the state subsidy for the large price difference between the cost of purchasing the fuel needed to operate power stations from abroad in foreign currency, and subsidized electricity prices in the local market.

The Spokesman added that the President stressed during the meeting the state’s keenness to address any problems or crises facing citizens, and to solve them on two levels. The first is to deal with emergencies and urgent cases and the second is to tackle root and structural solutions. In this regard, President El-Sisi directed the government to continue the intensive work to contain the current conditions and reduce the burdens on citizens as soon as possible, while strengthening efforts to maximize the return and added value of electricity and energy projects, in a way that provides the required resources to deal with all potential situations, in light of the continuous global fluctuations in political, economic and environmental factors.

The President also directed that national plans be promoted to increase the amount of renewable energy and maximize its value, with the aim of diversifying sources of energy supply, in partnership with the private sector and the oldest global expertise in this field.
